Are your body care products safe to use during pregnancy?
Lavido manufactures its products in accordance with American and European consumer safety regulations, and all our products are dermatologically tested to ensure safety. We recommend testing any product on a small patch of skin before usage to be certain a given product is right for you.

Which of your products are vegan friendly?
Lavido no longer produces products using beeswax or seaweed, but some of our older stock does contain a few products that have these ingredients. BUT, 95% of our products are vegan. Which of your products are gluten-free?
Lavido products contain no wheat. We recommend testing any product on a small patch of skin before usage to be certain a given product is right for you.

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
All Lavido products are dermatologically tested, although not hypoallergenic tested. If you have sensitive skin, we recommend testing any product on a small patch of skin before usage to be certain a given product is right for you.

Why does the color of the product vary?
Lavido uses a wide variety of plants, most of which are organic. Due to changes in climate, soil and other environmental factors, plants may vary in color, which will lead to some variation in product color. Color variation has no bearing on the quality and active nature of the plants and or products.

Does Lavido have a policy regarding chemical ingredients in products? For example, parabens.
Yes. We have a “NO List” of ingredients we will not use in our products: mineral oil, petroleum, silicones, SLS, parabens, and synthetic dyes. Our goal is to produce clean, effective, natural products by sourcing and using the best ingredients possible.

Do you have any policies on the use of GMO ingredients in you products?
Lavido does not use genetically modified plants and/or ingredients.

Does your company do animal testing?
Lavido does not test on animals.

What is the difference between “organici”, “certified organic” and “natural”?
Organic certification is related to governmental certifying bodies, which differ from country to country; and, in the United States, from state to state. It is our goal at Lavido to use organic ingredients that we can confirm are certified by reputable and best practice global bodies; to do so ensures the natural and organic ingredient we select for our products have been planted, grown and harvested at the highest global standards available.

What is the Lavido ingredient commitment?
We believe that production methods are no less important than the final product and that cooperation with local and an international grower is imperative. We choose our suppliers carefully and we are meticulous when it comes to the ingredients that we use. When choosing flower essences and oils, we give utmost importance to the quality of the raw materials.

Where do you deliver?

Lavido ships online orders from the webshop throughout the Europe Union. Shipping is now possible to Belgium, Bulgary, Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Austria, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Czech Republic, Sweden, The Netherlands and The United Kingdom. For purchases outside the European Union or to countries not listed here, please contact us directly.

What is your return policy?

You can always return a product, provided you do so within 14 days of receipt (the “withdrawal Period”) (and, if applicable, only if the product is still sealed). To return products, send an email to info@lavido.nl. Upon confirmation by us, you must send the product back within 5 days. We will fully refund the purchase price within 14 days after having received your returned product.

Cost for return shipments shall be borne by you.

During the Withdrawal Period, you shall exercise due care in handling the product and its packaging. You will only remove packaging and use the product to the extent that this is necessary to establish whether or not you want to keep the product.

Do I need to register on your website?

You do not need to register. Registering your details makes the order process easier.

When you sign in and register with our site for the first time you can create your account information page which details your contact and delivery information. We do not store your credit card. Once entered, your details will be stored in your account, and you will not have to re-enter them again when you make your next order.

Lavido uses your email address as a means of identification, as this is totally unique to you. We will email you information about the status of your order and beauty tips, special offers and more if indicated.
